Kamiq Skoda Geneva Motor Show SUV
The Škoda Kamiq brings out its more adventurous side with the new "Scoutline" trim
Škoda will be present at the Geneva Motor Show showing the new Scoutline trim for the Kamiq, the very place where this model was unveiled last year

We still have around a month and a half until the Geneva Motor Show kicks off a new edition, but brands are already preparing what they will present at one of the most important events of the year. It was right there that Škoda unveiled one of its new models last year, the Kamiq, an urban-style SUV that has gradually expanded its range and which now, once again in Geneva, will show us its more adventurous side.
Škoda models that offer a more off-road look are usually named “Scout”, and in keeping with that tradition the Kamiq that the brand will bring to the Geneva Motor Show will be shown in the new trim available, called “Scoutline“. As you can imagine, it sets aside its urban image to adopt a look more oriented towards the countryside.
On the Škoda Kamiq Scoutline this image comes through in matte black finished wheel arches, which stand out against the rest of the bodywork, something also achieved with other elements painted in silver, such as the underbody protection, the rear diffuser, the mirror housings, the roof rails and the side sills. Added to this, as standard equipment, is a specific rear spoiler, SunSet rear windows and chrome trim, full-LED rear lights and 17-inch “Praga” alloy wheels, with the 18-inch “Crater” model available as an option.

The brand has not provided images of the Škoda Kamiq Scoutline interior, but it says there will be small changes specific to this trim, such as special upholstery for the seats made from breathable ThermoFlux fabric and Suedia microfibre; while the steering wheel, handbrake and gear lever will be covered in leather. The standard interior inserts for the Kamiq Scoutline create an ash wood effect, which can optionally be upgraded to a dark brushed design, along with air vents with chrome-effect surrounds, ambient LED lighting and LED reading lights.
Mechanically, the Škoda Kamiq Scoutline will be available with all the engines on offer, so, as a reminder, we can choose between the 1.0 TSI engine in 95 CV and 115 CV outputs, the 1.5 TSI engine with 150 CV, the diesel 1.6 TDI option with 115 CV, and the fifth configuration, the 1.0 G-TEC with 90 CV, which runs on CNG and earns the ECO label.
As I mentioned at the beginning, the Škoda Kamiq Scoutline will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in early March and, once that takes place, its sale in the Spanish market is planned for July.
