The Škoda Kodiaq 2024 expands its range of versions and includes a PHEV version with 100 km of range
The electric SUV from the Czech brand launches production with petrol, diesel, electric and PHEV technology versions with more than 100 km of range

Škoda already surprised us last year with the launch of the second generation of the famous Czech SUV, the Skoda Kodiaq. Little by little, they have been refining this new generation to give it the necessary features and the engines that consumers want and, without a doubt, they have succeeded, focusing on sustainability, spaciousness and safety.
The Czech brand had to introduce innovations in this generation, and one of them is its dimensions: the brand has increased the dimensions of its flagship in order to highlight the Modern Solid design language. At present the brand offers only one petrol version with an ECO label and a high-performance diesel with 4×4 traction, but later on we will see how the PHEV model is incorporated.

Latest-generation infotainment
The new Kodiaq spares no expense on technology, featuring latest-generation infotainment systems that will satisfy even the most demanding drivers. An optional 13-inch screen stands as the command centre, while a head-up display projects crucial information directly into the driver’s field of view.

It also features Škoda’s innovative Smart Dials, equipped with haptic controls, together with a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit. But the true technological revolution comes with the integration of the AI-based ChatGPT chatbot, which will enhance the voice control system from mid-2024 onwards.
Design Selections
The new interior concept of the Kodiaq, based on Design Selections, focuses on luxury and comfort for both driver and passengers. With meticulous attention to detail, Škoda has created an environment that combines high-quality materials and incredible spaciousness, with generous room for passengers and cargo alike.

Engines for every taste
With five powertrains available, the Kodiaq offers a complete range of options to meet the needs of every driver. From powerful petrol engines to efficient hybrid variants, Škoda has designed a range of engines that balance performance and efficiency. Standing out among them, the new Kodiaq iV stands as a symbol of Škoda’s commitment to electrification. With a power output of 204 CV and an electric range of more than 100 kilometres. For those who prefer the efficiency of diesel, the 2.0-litre TDI engine with 150 CV offers a perfect balance between performance and economy.

The sporty touch: Kodiaq RS
For enthusiasts of sporty driving, the Kodiaq RS, which is now renamed Sportline, promises strong emotions on every journey. The previous generation, the which we had the chance to test, had a 2.0-litre engine producing 245 CV; however, in this update it will be presented with a powerful 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 258 CV, combined with the seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. That said, we will have to wait to see this version on the roads.
