Shelby Super Cars Tuatara Supercars
The SSC Tuatara is already the fastest car in the world, having surpassed 530 km/h.
The crown for the highest top-speed record for a car passes to the SSC Tuatara, which comfortably beats the previous mark, until now held by Bugatti
The race to be the fastest car gives us battles that are usually epic, feats worthy of medieval tales or historical novels about conflicts as dramatic as they were pivotal in History.
And, in particular, the history of the automotive industry records memorable chapters in which a succession of vehicles, at the moment they achieve their unbeatable times, assault their predecessor and push it off the top step of the podium among the fastest cars in the world, down to an honorable second place, condemned from that moment on to fall without remedy or solution.
This event takes us to the United States, specifically to one of the most mysterious places in the world, the state of Nevada, cradle of various paranormal events and where the phenomenon of unidentified flying objects records unusual activity.

It may have something to do with the sighting of these craft performing maneuvers that are inconceivable for physics, for technology and for human reasoning but, coming back down to earth, onto the asphalt, a vehicle no less peculiar than flying objects, the SSC Tuatara, has flown low over the ground.
SSC Tuatara: new top-speed record
For months the manufacturer SSC North America has been publishing gems in the form of videos on its YouTube channel in which, finally, it made clear that its goal was none other than to launch its SSC Tuatara model to the summit of the list of the fastest cars in the world.

Located on an ordinary road, the Nevada State Highway 160, but closed for the running of this test, on October 10 of this year 2020, a unit of the SSC Tuatara aimed to reach the maximum regime set by its 5.9-liter engine and 1,750 CV of power to beat the record set by the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, a variant of the brand-new hypercar designed to be, in turn, the fastest production car, as it has been for a little over the year in which it has held this title.
On the first run, the SSC Tuatara came close to the record with 301.07 miles per hour but, on the second pass, the hypercar set a stratospheric mark of 331.151 mph, equivalent to 532.94 km/h, which has been immortalized in an onboard video.

In this context, the SSC Tuatara managed to record an average speed not only above the 304.77 miles per hour of the French sports car; in fact, it shattered the record, reaching a time set for the record of the fastest production car of 316.11 miles per hour.
