The Suzuki Grand Vitara receives an update

Suzuki Spain has started marketing the new generation of the Grand Vitara, which has been on sale in other European markets for a few months. This new generation will be sold alongside the previous generation, of which the Japanese brand still has models in stock, although the latter will logically be sold at a reduced price.
The novelties of the Grand Vitara are purely aesthetic, with only minor changes focused on the bumpers and grille, which receive a new design. The wheel arches have also been revised, less pronounced than on the previous model, and new 17- and 18-inch alloy wheel designs have been added, along with new colours that will join the Grand Vitara range. As for the interior, the cabin remains unchanged, although new upholstery options have been added. All modifications apply to both versions of the vehicle, whether the 3-door or 5-door variant.

As for the engines, there will be no changes compared with the previous generation, as the familiar powertrains will be used: two petrol and one diesel. The petrol engine is the 1.6 with 106 hp, available only in the three-door, while the 2.4 with 169 hp is offered with either a manual or automatic gearbox, in the long-wheelbase five-door body. In the diesel variants, the 1.9 with 129 hp is offered, with homologated consumption of 7 l/100 km.
