Well, thanks to the work carried out by RemetzCar, we can enjoy a Tesla Model S with a Shooting Brake configuration, which gives the electric saloon a greater personality. Today, we delve into the study of the company based in the Netherlands to find out in full detail how the construction process of this very special Model S has been.

Europe has been encouraging the use of electric vehicles for some time now, especially in the Nordic countries, where there are countless incentives and interest in purchasing this type of model. Following the call from Floris de Raadt, a good customer and Shooting Brake enthusiast, the company got to work to bring this very special Tesla Model S to life.

Creating a Model S Shooting Brake was no simple task, since before starting to carry out the appropriate modifications, it was necessary to conduct a thorough analysis of which steps would be required. To do this, RemetzCar began investigating whether to change the C-pillar or add new windows to create the desired Shooting Brake, but in the end the result was far more satisfying.

After designing it with various software programmes and producing a 3D model, RemetzCar decided to take action and go ahead with creating the Tesla Model S Shooting Brake. To do so, they used various aluminium panels, which served as the basis for the modifications to the C-pillar and the additional windows that appear once this new body style is fitted. At the same time, the construction process has been refined down to the smallest detail, with all the new components being made by hand.

On the other hand, the company has also put in considerable effort to keep the electrical system intact, since the new tailgate still opens with the quirky and charismatic key of the Tesla. At the same time, a great deal of time has also been invested in the details, such as all the chrome elements that bring the Model S to life and which have also been applied after taking on this new Shooting Brake configuration.

In this way, RemetzCar has managed to create a unique Model S that looks as though it was created by the Tesla itself, where every detail blends perfectly with the base offered by the electric saloon. Although it was a made-to-order model, the company has decided to build a total of 20 units, which will carry a high level of exclusivity and which only a fortunate few will be able to purchase.
