The Toyota Land Cruiser unveils its 60th Anniversary edition

It could be said that the Toyota Land Cruiser is the “Jeep Japanese” in every sense (although it has little of Jeep left), since its origins were almost similar to the American Jeep of World War II, having been commissioned as a transport vehicle for the Japanese army a few years after the war. In fact, the first models were almost similar to the Jeep.
And as an admirer and practitioner of 4x4s, I’ll say that the Land Cruiser remains one of the most traditional off-road vehicles and will now improve its offer thanks to the 60th Anniversary commemorative model, a version created from the VX trim and which features the “60th Anniversary” logo on its bodywork.
As a commemorative model, it will come with some specific details, such as floor mats matching the model, a commemorative key designed specifically for the occasion, leather-upholstered seats, an electric sunroof and rear parking sensors.
In terms of engines, Toyota will continue to offer the D4-D engine, but with 17 more horsepower, now reaching 190 hp. In turn, maximum torque also increases from 410 to 420 Nm, and the peak torque range also rises from 1,600 to 3,000 rpm.
The new 60th Anniversary version carries a premium of €1,600 and will be available in both the 3-door and 5-door body styles. In the 3-door, you can only choose the D4-D diesel engine with different trim levels and even the option of an automatic gearbox. Prices for this model range from €40,250 to €53,200. The 5-door, on the other hand, in addition to the D4-D engine, will also be available with a powerful V6 petrol engine. The price range for the 5-door Land Cruiser goes from €43,150 to €75,850.

No me gusta nada este coche, parece un coche chino, una mala copia del antiguo modelo. Hay que tener mal gusto para comprarselo. Eso si es un gran coche pero muy feo, jeje.
Un saludo.
