The Toyota Prius gets muscle with the Plus Performance package

No other car is more underestimated by tuners than a Toyota Prius, and only a handful have dared to do anything with the already iconic hybrid. And it is Toyota Racing Development itself that is set to put an end to these prejudices, with the Plus Performance package.
TRD has fitted all Prius variants with a package consisting of an aerodynamic kit, 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels, new lowered suspension springs and an anti-roll bar.
The Prius’s final look isn’t exactly one for setting lap times at the Nürburgring, but it gives a sportier, more refreshed appearance while still looking good, which is probably what those who wanted their Prius to stand out a little from the crowd were after.
The Plus Performance package will be offered on only a few units and will cost on average around 3,000 euros when it reaches the market.
