The Monterey event is at its height, and the cars on show there are the dream of many. From supercars to elegant saloons, they have everything to be the cars that anyone who wants one in their garage would want. Marvels of which we will soon see images, though they are already starting to appear. Autoexpress has shown us one of those revolutionary concepts that will make us dream, in the form of the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabrio, a convertible version of the electric model we already know.

This version has the same length as the model it is based on, although instead of a fixed roof it has a fabric soft top that can be removed, offering a view of the interior, and the driving experience is doubled thanks to its design, conceived to be driven without it. The length of 5.7 metres makes it an impressive car, with a spectacular and very attractive chrome grille.

The 24-inch wheels, formed with several spokes that give a very elegant look, help to achieve this. To round off the appearance, you can make out a luxury yacht at the rear, since this is what the design of this car was based on. Inside, luxury is also present thanks to the use of crystal white nappa leather in a diamond configuration accented by a button, like a Chesterfield sofa. The presence of materials such as wood and aluminium reinforces the image of a design based on a yacht.

The dashboard is very simple, with barely three ventilation outlets and only the bare essentials in front of the driver. All functions can be controlled through the Concierge voice recognition system, which understands a more natural conversational style. Information is projected onto the windscreen thanks to a Head-Up Display. Another feature is the presence of blue fibre-optic visors that show the flow of energy from the battery to the motor.

This model also includes biometric sensors that monitor the condition of the vehicle’s occupants, according to the brand. As for the engine, it has the same four electric motors that deliver an equivalent output of 740 CV, which take the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. The car’s range is about 320 kilometres, which is quite impressive. As you can see in the photos, it has several accessories that reinforce the car’s luxurious image. What do you think of this version of this spectacular car?
