These are the best-selling cars in December 2021
The Hyundai Tucson became the best-selling car in December 2021 with 2,423 units.

2021 has been a turbulent year for the automotive industry, and December continued the decline in passenger car and SUV registrations. Despite the recovery figures published by some European Union countries, the market still has not taken off, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic crisis, as well as the shortage of semiconductors and chips. Nevertheless, these are the best-selling cars in December 2021.
December closed with a 18.7% drop in sales, reaching 86,081 units. The year-to-date total stands at 859,477 units registered, representing a 1% increase over the previous 2020 period. The rental channel was the one most affected during the last month of the year.

Noemi Navas, communications director of ANFAC, noted that “the year that has just ended has proven to be even more complicated in terms of registrations than the previous one, despite the closures caused by the pandemic. To the uncertainty and economic crisis caused by Covid-19, we have added the scarcity of product due to the shortage of semiconductors and bottlenecks in logistics”.
