These are the ten best-selling cars in July 2021
New vehicle sales in July bring back the negative trend, with a fall of 28.9% compared with 2020. Here are the best-sellers.

After four consecutive months in which new car registrations had been positive compared with the previous year, 2020, July has once again brought a negative trend, with 34,030 units fewer sold compared with the same month last year.
However, despite this, registrations of electrified, hybrid and gas vehicles have increased their sales by 14% compared with July last year, with 28,364 vehicles sold of this type, accounting for 33% of the total vehicles registered.
After this brief overview of the new car market, we begin with the number one on this month’s list of best-selling cars.

Top 10: To begin with…
With 2,623 units sold, the small Dacia Sandero takes first place in the Top 10, a vehicle that always does well in our country thanks to its good balance between a modest price and a good product. Let us recall that the Sandero became the best-selling car of 2020 in our country.
In second place is the SEAT León with 2,527 units sold. The compact from Martorell is another classic on our country’s list of favourites, and to complete the podium we find the SEAT Arona with 2,360 units sold, July being the fourth consecutive month in which the compact SUV occupies the Top 3.

The fourth most popular choice in our country is the Korean Hyundai Tucson with 2,288 units sold. The SUV, which was renewed earlier this same year 2021, presents itself as one of the most attractive options in its segment. The next and fifth place goes to another SUV, but this time a smaller one. The T-Cross with 2,030 units sold closes out the top five.
Midway through the table
Sixth place goes to the Opel Corsa. A compact that, since the launch of its first generation, has been manufactured in Spain, specifically at the Figueruelas factory. The new Corsa has sold 1,945 units. The next place is taken by the Peugeot 3008 with 1,910 units, being the only representative of the brand from the Lion.

In eighth place we have the big brother of the T-Cross, namely the T-Roc. The SUV from Volkswagen has sold 1,817 units in our country, followed by the new Citroën C4 with 1,660 units, and in tenth and last place within the Top 10, the Toyota Corolla with 1,605 units.
SEAT was the best-selling brand this month with 8,066 units, followed by Volkswagen with 6,859 and Kia with 6,456, closing the podium.
