These are the ten best-selling cars in July

Once again, as every month, we are going to find out which are the ten best-selling cars. It’s the turn of the seventh month of the year, a month that has risen to become the second-worst month since 1989 in terms of registrations. A total of 73,378 units were registered, a figure that represents a drop of 12.5% compared to the same month in 2022.

Dacia Sandero

The best-selling car in July is the Dacia Sandero. This model has become one of the most affordable city cars on the market and, let’s be honest, one of the most talked-about right now. Among its features, it stands out for the option of getting it with a bi-fuel powertrain running on LPG, or, if adventure is your thing, with the Stepway package. It managed to register 2,368 units.

Opel Corsa

The second place in the ranking goes to the Opel Corsa. It registered 2,132 units, and this is no surprise, since the city car offers a wide mechanical range with diesel, petrol and even a fully electric option.

Hyundai Tucson

The podium is completed by the Hyundai Tucson. This compact SUV is becoming the absolute market leader so far this year, and although it registered 2,079 units in July, its year-to-date total climbs to 13,986 units.

Peugeot 2008

The Peugeot 2008 has become the entry-level model for the lion brand. In fact, it has everything needed to be a super seller: compact dimensions, a wide range of engines and an attractive design. What more do you need? During the seventh month of the year it registered 1,916 units.

Ford Kuga

One of the models that has caught our attention among the best-selling cars in July is this one: the Ford Kuga. This SUV had not made it into the top ten selection for quite some time. The truth is that it is a very versatile SUV, available with PHEV, HEV and combustion engine powertrains. It registered 1,762 units.

Citroën C4

As you probably know, the Citroën C4 has undergone a thorough redesign and has become a coupé-style SUV. It is available with electric, diesel and petrol versions. It registered 1,657 units.

Toyota Yaris

The Japanese city car has become a must among drivers, as it is one of the models with the lowest consumption on the market thanks to its hybrid powertrain. It offers 116 CV of power and carries the ECO environmental label from the Directorate-General for Traffic. It registered 1,624 units.

Fiat 500

The most stylish city car registered 1,603 units. It is available in a mild-hybrid version with 70 CV, or as a fully electric version with 118 CV and a range of 320 kilometres.

Renault Captur

The SUV from the diamond brand takes ninth place and managed to register 1,553 units. Its position in the table is surprising, since it had not appeared for several months. It is available with hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains.

Kia Stonic

The Kia Stonic closes the selection of the ten best-selling cars in July with 1,504 units. It is available with mild-hybrid powertrains of up to 120 CV.
