This is the Audi R8 Japan Final Edition, eight units to say goodbye to Japan
Japan is the country closing the chapter on the Audi R8 with a special edition exclusive to the market and eight units that are believed to have already been sold.

A few months ago, we learned that the end of production of the Audi R8 was coming, a sports car that for several years has been highly coveted and has captivated many drivers. The end had already been set on the calendar, but before it disappears completely, Audi has launched several special editions aimed at different countries. The latest of these is the Audi R8 Japan Final Edition.
This version will have only eight units, so Japanese buyers who want to acquire one of these impressive cars will have to hurry to get one. Audi wanted it to be a very special version, decorated in three colours that are very popular in the country: white, red and gold.

The bodywork is painted in Ibis White matte, while the brake calipers are painted red. The gold colour is found on the spokes of the 21-inch wheels, which are brushed bronze to resemble gold. As a whole, it offers a very attractive look that aims to draw the attention of Japanese buyers.
This special edition features elements made of carbon fibre. This material is present in the exterior mirror housings, the front diffuser, the side sills, the rear spoiler and the rear diffuser.

The interior has also been worked on so that buyers have reasons to want to sit behind the wheel. The Nappa leather upholstery, the two-tone trim in Alabaster White and black, and the roof is covered in Alcántara. Exclusivity is also marked on the door sill, whose trim is exclusive. Buyers will also receive a plaque with the chassis number.
Price of the Audi R8 Japan Edition
The price of each of these eight units of the special edition is 35,080,000 yen, which is approximately 226,000 euros. It is not known whether the eight cars can be purchased or whether they already have assigned buyers, which is usually the case. Either way, they are out of our reach, because they will only be sold in Japan.
