Aventador Lamborghini Supercars
This is the last non-electrified V12-powered Lamborghini, the farewell to an era
The Lamborghini Aventador has been discontinued, and the last one ever built has been produced, bound for Switzerland, which also marks the end of the non-electrified V12 engine.

It was an announced ending, and we have discussed it on several occasions. The Lamborghini Aventador has stopped production, and the V12 engine that powers it becomes a thing of the past. Before that, we saw several special editions pass by that elevated this model to new levels. But the moment has come, and the last of them has already rolled off the assembly line, which marks not only the end of the model.
It is also the last Lamborghini car to feature the naturally aspirated, non-electrified V12 engine. The end of an era that brought impactful and very attractive models, both in terms of design and performance. The last unit to leave the brand’s plant was a Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Roadster, requested by a customer from Switzerland.

This last unit of the Lamborghini Aventador is painted in a special light blue from the Ad Personam division, which handles customization of the brand’s cars. This model has history, since production lines were halted during the component crisis, and the brand also had to face the loss of 15 units in the fire aboard the ship transporting them across the Atlantic.

ÚLTIMO LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR
Over its commercial life, the Lamborghini Aventador has reached 11,465 units, all of which came off that same assembly line. Within a few years it matched the Lamborghini Murcielago, with 5,000 units sold, but by the end of its life it has managed to sell more than all the other models using the V12 engine, so it has been a milestone for the brand.
The disappearance of the V12 engine is not definitive, since this type of engine will continue, though with a particularity. The brand’s next supercar will feature a V12 engine, but accompanied by electric motors. This will be the one that replaces the Aventador and keeps this spectacular engine’s legacy alive, but with better performance.
