This is the Munro MK_1, the electric off-roader that makes an impact
The off-road segment is moving toward electric mobility, and we are finding more and more vehicles of this type powered by electricity, such as this one.

Off-roaders are not used for getting around the city. They are, above all, efficient tools designed for hard work. Their main users are farmers, ranchers and other workers who travel over difficult terrain. None of these professionals has a good option for decarbonising their activity, so an electric off-roader is always good news for them.
Munro is a brand based in Scotland that has these users in mind and has created the Munro MK_1, an electric off-roader with a functional, robust appearance. Utility takes precedence over aesthetics, and this shows in its minimalist design, with a sober look and very clean, simple lines. But where it wants to stand out is in its performance.

It has the capacity to carry up to five people and haul cargo in the rear. What it promises is good range and the off-road capability that will make it useful and very practical on many kinds of terrain and for many jobs in the countryside. There are two versions available: an entry-level version and a more powerful one that, according to the brand, offers up to 16 hours of operation on rough terrain on a single charge.

This would be possible because on these terrains you travel at low speed, which allows the battery to last well for that time. In the case of the more powerful version of the model, it has an 82 kWh battery, which allows it to homologate a range of just over 300 kilometres.
In this case, the electric motor delivers 381 CV, which means journeys over rural terrain should not pose a real problem. The entry-level version offers a 299 CV motor and a 61 kWh battery, which gives a somewhat shorter range.
Towing capacity is 3,500 kg, another point in favour of this electric off-roader built for hard work. The price of this model is set at £49,995, which is equivalent to 56,000 euros. The first deliveries are scheduled for the last months of 2023, so reservations can already be made and in a few months owners will be able to enjoy its power and capabilities.
