Ford Convertibles Compact Recreations
This is what the future Ford Fiesta convertible could look like

Aware that there is a niche in the market for small, fun convertibles, as the 206 CC and the Tigra Twin Top demonstrated, Ford plans to do the same with its already idolised new Fiesta, adding a roofless version.
Unlike the Focus Coupé-Cabriolet, the Fiesta Cabriolet will use a fabric roof to avoid an increase in weight beyond what is needed, and to leave room in the boot behind the rear seats, as well as keep fuel consumption and emissions in check.
Its engine would be the same petrol unit found in the sporty version of the Fiesta, the Zetec S. This new model will go on sale in early 2010, and we could see a preview at the next London Motor Show.
