This Mexican supercar wants to succeed in the United Kingdom

One of the stars of the London Motor Show, which opens in a few days, will be this supercar coming from Mexico, which was one of the featured cars at the 2013 Goodwood Festival and is now looking to carve out its place in the British market

The United Kingdom is one of the most important markets in Europe, and the country hosts some of the most prestigious shows, especially when it comes to supercars and high-end cars. So it is no surprise that the Goodwood Festival of Speed, held in June, showcases some of the most imposing cars of this type.

The VUHL 05 was presented at the 2013 edition of this festival and, since then, has arrived on the islands with the aim of winning over British tastes and buyers eager to own one of these cars. Its look is truly imposing, and its two seats appear to offer all the comfort its occupants deserve.

As for its engine, the VUHL 05 uses the 2.0-litre Ecoboost engine fitted to the Ford Focus ST, but tuned to deliver a considerable 285 CV and 420 Nm of peak torque. This engine allows it to reach 100 km/h from a standstill in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 241 km/h.

Its weight of 695 kilograms gives it a power-to-weight ratio of 410 CV per tonne, a fairly high figure that makes it look quite imposing. The car will seek customers in England during the London Motor Show, which opens its doors in a few days, where it will be displayed to turn this Mexican supercar into a real option for British buyers.

The car was originally designed for track use, but it has also been approved for road use, which makes it a vehicle to enjoy day to day and to get the most out of on a circuit, feeling all the power that cannot be experienced on conventional roads. The price in the United Kingdom is £59,995, which puts it within reach of quite a few buyers. What do you think of the VUHL 05?
