Toyota GR Yaris 2024: new gearbox, better engine and a price from €47,500
Toyota has updated one of its most coveted models since it went on sale in 2019, giving it just the right improvements to fine-tune the sporty version of the Yaris

Toyota presents the 2024 range of the GR Yaris, a model that since its launch in 2019 has captivated enthusiasts with its pure sporting spirit and exceptional performance. This new version arrives with significant improvements that make it an even more attractive and exciting vehicle.
The GR Yaris 2024 keeps its aggressive, sporty look but, although we focus on its design, it has received some details that set it apart from its predecessor, such as a new Atom Grey colour, which joins the range of colours already available, such as Emotion Red, Monte Carlo Black and Classic White.

Improvements of the 2024 version
Same engine, more power: The heart of the GR Yaris 2024 is still the powerful 1.6-litre three-cylinder engine, but now it delivers 280 CV instead of 260 CV, 19 CV more than its predecessor. This increase has been achieved thanks to a series of technical improvements, such as new pistons and a redesigned intake system.
New gearbox: a new eight-speed Gazoo Racing Direct Transmission automatic gearbox has been fitted, offering fast and precise operation, ideal for getting the most out of sporty driving. The six-speed manual gearbox option remains for those who prefer it, but I can tell you that the automatic is well worth it too.
Reinforced suspension, especially at the front, has increased torsional rigidity and improved response to changes of direction. In addition, a new three-bolt system has been implemented at the junction of the shock absorber with the bodywork, to increase durability and stability in this sporty version.
Larger brake discs: the braking system has also been improved, now featuring larger discs and more powerful brake calipers to guarantee safe and precise braking.
Renewed interior; the driving position has been improved, making it lower and more enveloping, and the dashboard is completely new, with a more ergonomic layout and state-of-the-art digital instrumentation.

Better intercooler performance; the GR Yaris 2024 features, for the first time in a Toyota, a water spray system for the intercooler. This system sprays water over the intercooler to lower the temperature of the intake air, which increases the engine’s power and performance.
Prices and availability
The new Toyota GR Yaris RZ is now on sale at the Official Dealer Network of Toyota Spain for €47,500 in the RZ trim, or €49,500 if you choose the ‘Circuit Pack’ option.
