Toyota GT 86 2017: even more stable and aerodynamic
The compact sports car Toyota receives chassis improvements and includes a new “circuit mode.” It keeps the successful formula of the 200 CV boxer engine and rear-wheel drive.
The new 2017 Toyota GT86 features updates to the design, chassis and equipment. This compact, lightweight sports car further highlights its dynamic driving credentials. The new Toyota GT86 receives a series of suspension adjustments that give the vehicle greater stability through corners and ride comfort.

The exterior design of the new GT86 respects the core lines of the original model, but its sporty character has been reinforced with new LED headlights, a lower bonnet and a revised front bumper. At the rear, it features a larger new spoiler made of aluminium. In addition, the bodywork has increased its rigidity and aerodynamics.

In terms of mechanics, it keeps the successful 200 CV boxer engine mounted in the front axle and the rear-wheel drive that enthusiasts value so highly. The six-speed gearbox is offered in both manual and automatic versions.
Among the features of this new Toyota GT86, the standout is the new track mode (“circuit mode”), which minimises the intervention of electronic systems (stability and traction control). This driving mode projects a series of data on the TFT screen, such as power and torque curves and G-force information. Track mode also includes a stopwatch for recording lap times on the circuit.

The equipment updates include a hill start assist (HAC), emergency braking warning lights (warning) and the latest version of the Toyota Touch 2, a multimedia system with a 6.1-inch screen and Bluetooth connectivity.

The 2017 Toyota GT86 is already available in Spain from a price of €32,990.
