Väth tunes the new Mercedes SLK
Väth has just presented its new customization catalogue for the new Mercedes SLK 2012

Väth has just presented its new customization programme for the new Mercedes SLK 2012, a programme that stands out not only for reworking the mechanics of a large number of versions but also for a special taste and boldness in customizing a body far more complex than you might imagine
In terms of exterior styling, Väth has opted for a new front spoiler, a much sportier rear diffuser, a firmer and more effective suspension and attractive 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the highlights are the decorative carbon fibre elements, aluminium pedals, velour mats and a speedometer that now reaches 330 km/h

Mechanically, Väth offers a wide range of modifications. Starting with the SLK 200 CGI, we find a vehicle whose power has been raised to 210 hp and 310 Nm of maximum torque. The SLK 250 CGI can be modified up to 244 hp and 360 Nm of maximum torque, a truly considerable and especially appealing improvement.
Finally, we will focus on the performance of the always attractive SLK350 CGI which, thanks to certain changes to the engine control unit, has seen its 3.5-litre V6 engine’s power increased to 330 hp and 390 Nm of maximum torque.
As a detail, Väth offers as an option the possibility of fitting high-performance brakes, a limited-slip rear differential or a complete high-flow exhaust system made of stainless steel
