"Very fast, very technical and very spectacular", that is how Mugello is for Márquez and Pedrosa
Marc Márquez arrives at Mugello, Rossi’s territory, with a 36-point lead over the second-placed rider in the MotoGP World Championship. We analyse the circuit where they will face each other

This coming weekend the new edition of the Italian MotoGP Grand Prix takes place at Mugello. Márquez arrives with a clear advantage over his rivals after three consecutive victories in the last three grands prix and the modest results obtained by his closest rivals in the title race this year, … although there is still a long season ahead.
His 95 points weigh heavily against the 59 of Maverick Viñales, who is second in the provisional MotoGP championship standings, Zarco’s 58 and Rossi’s 56, his three immediate chasers in the title race.

Mugello, a very fast, very technical circuit with spectacular racing lines, is always one of the most interesting rounds of the MotoGP championship because of the difficulty of its layout and the spectacle of the races held there.
Márquez heads to “Rossi territory” hoping to score another win that confirms his current good form, while his teammate, Dani Pedrosa, is looking to start a run of good results that will convince the team managers that he is still the best teammate to, together with Márquez, guarantee success for Honda-Repsol.
Both riders discuss in the video attached to this article the peculiarities of the Mugello circuit and its most spectacular point, the descent into La Rabiatta, one of the most spectacular corners in the MotoGP World Championship.
