VinFast already has signed agreements to sell its vehicles through dealerships in France and Germany

According to a statement published by the Vietnamese manufacturer, these agreements mark a turning point in the brand’s European strategy, thus consolidating its commitment to sustainability on the continent.

Just a few days after announcing its intention to completely overhaul its commercial strategy in Europe, abandoning direct sales and closing all of its showrooms on the continent, the Vietnamese manufacturer has taken an important step forward by signing new agreements with distributors in France and Germany.

In France, the company Astrada Simva will be in charge of opening VinFast’s first official dealership in the town of Aix-en-Provence. Meanwhile, in Germany, the company Schachtschneider Automobile will follow the same path. With this move, VinFast confirms its commitment to the transition to electric mobility in Europe, adapting its sales model with the aim of bringing its vehicles to a greater number of customers.

VinFast’s first dealership on French territory will open its doors next June, while in Germany Schachtschneider Automobile will open three more authorized dealerships where the VF 6 and VF 8 electric SUVs, belonging to the B and D segments, will be sold. These vehicles will be available for test drives, and the dealerships will offer after-sales services, warranties, and original spare parts.

This is only the beginning

VinFast plans to expand its dealer network in France, Germany, and the Netherlands, in addition to exploring other European markets, while broadening its range of electric vehicles. Although no specific targets have been detailed by country, the company promises to give its partners the fullest collaboration in order to provide the best service to customers, which includes thorough training for dealership sales staff to ensure a deep knowledge of the Vietnamese manufacturer’s vehicles and maintenance procedures.

It should also be noted that VinFast works with 22 specialized technical centers across Europe —eight in Germany, twelve in France, and two in the Netherlands— and with authorized workshops such as ATU in Germany, Norauto in France, and LKQ in the Netherlands, in order to complement the services of its distributors.
