Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio Austria, another of the new features at Wörthersee

A group of engineering and design students, aged between 17 and 23, from Wolfsburg and Osnabrück in Germany are the creators of one of the new features the brand is presenting at Wörthersee, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio Austria. Exclusive, sporty design together with the powerful 2.0 engine producing 333 CV are the hallmarks that set this new version apart.
The bodywork is finished in Oryx White pearl effect, combined with Flash Red accents on the bonnet stripes, the sides, the mirrors and the brake calipers. The 19-inch alloy wheels and the honeycomb-patterned GTI air intakes complete the sporty look of the Golf GTI Cabrio.
Inside, you are greeted by two Recaro sports seats in black, red and white with red “Austria” embroidery. The door trim features the letters GTI in white and, overall, the cabin stands out for its exclusivity and design. Under the bonnet is the powerful 2.0 TSI engine, producing 333 CV and paired with the six-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
With this project, Volkswagen aims to give its most talented apprentices the opportunity to expand their knowledge. The Volkswagen Golf GTI Cabrio Austria is the sixth GTI created by apprentices and celebrates its world premiere in Reifnitz, on Lake Wörthersee.
