Volkswagen Golf R Unlimited: sold out in just three weeks!
Only 50 units of the Volkswagen Golf R Unlimited have been produced. This limited edition features several design and chassis improvements.
The Volkswagen Golf R is a highly coveted vehicle among fans of sporty compacts. Just to give one example, the limited edition Golf R “Unlimited” that Volkswagen launched only a month ago is no longer available: all 50 units of this version sold out in less than three weeks! This numbered limited edition could only be purchased through an online reservation on the website 50golfr.com. The price of the Golf R Unlimited is €53,900.

What makes this limited edition of the Golf R so special?
Each of the 50 customers who reserved their new Golf R Unlimited received a “Limited Edition” certificate, a Welcome Box and other exclusive extras, as well as the chance to take part in a sporty driving course at the Volkswagen Driving Experience school, held at the Montmeló circuit.
Mechanical and chassis improvements

The 2.0 TSI engine with 310 CV of the standard Golf remains unchanged in this special version, as does the 7-speed DSG gearbox. However, the Golf R Unlimited adds a number of upgrades that boost its dynamic performance, such as the sport exhaust system made of titanium and designed by the renowned brand Akrapovič. The car also features adaptive DCC suspension and high-performance brakes. Unlike the standard model, this version has no electronic top-speed limiter, which is why it has been nicknamed “Unlimited”. The car also comes with 19-inch alloy wheels finished in gloss black (Pretoria Black) and a small roof spoiler at the rear.

Exclusive design and cutting-edge technology
The bodywork of the Volkswagen Golf R Unlimited is wrapped in matte metallic graphite grey vinyl. It also incorporates a number of new styling elements, such as the panoramic sunroof, carbon-fibre exterior mirror housings and aluminium door sill plates with the “R UNLIMITED” inscription.

On the technology side, the Golf R Unlimited includes the “Rear View” rear-view camera, the “Keyless-Access” keyless entry and start system and the “DYNAUDIO Excite” sound system.
