Volkswagen Scirocco, catalogue photos leaked

2008 was by no means over for Volkswagen with the launch of the Passat CC; the “sportification” of one of its segments, with a consequent slight price increase in a new model, is not an isolated case. Scirocco. The Scirocco is in fact an announced return of a model that won the affection of many years ago, but the cold reality is that it is a model that takes the base and some engines from the Golf and fits them into the body and image of a much sportier car.

Whether you like it or not will be something to discuss later, and above all will be judged by its sales; what is beyond dispute is that its design looks good, especially considering that it draws in part on the acclaimed iroc concept. And so as not to keep you in suspense any longer… let’s get to the reason for this post: some photos of one of the model’s catalogues have just appeared on the Internet. Not much can be seen, but they are official photos after all, of the production version we will see shortly at Geneva. An attractive exterior design with no major surprises compared to what was expected, and an interior that at first glance is Golf; is impatience starting to build, or not?
