Volkswagen T5 Multivan Outdoor Edition with more comfort and more equipment

A new variant of the Multivan T5 has been presented by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. It is the Outdoor Edition, which complements the range with more equipment, increasing the comfort of the model. In addition, new exterior elements are added and several packages that will now be standard.

The first detail of this new T5 variant is that the exterior colour will only be white for the Outdoor Edition. The white colour has been given a somewhat sportier look with more presence, thanks to the black grille, tinted windows and the same black colour for the 17-inch wheels (aluminium-coloured wheels are also available on request). It will also feature side stickers with the word “Outdoor”, also in black.

As we mentioned, packages that were previously not available as standard are now added: the Light and Vision package with rain sensor and the Coming and Leaving Home functions, the Park Pilot system with front and rear sensors, and the Edition package, which includes the multifunction leather steering wheel, fog lights with cornering light, Climatic and active safety systems such as the electronic stabilisation programme with brake servo, ABS, ASR, EDS, as well as the hill start assist. Inside, it features swivel front seats and the RNS 315 radio navigation system with Bluetooth, 8 speakers, Plus multifunction display and Media In connection for iPhone and iPod.

For both the five- and seven-seat versions, the engine choice is the two TDI diesel engines of 114 and 140 horsepower, the latter with a manual or DSG automatic dual-clutch gearbox and 4MOTION four-wheel drive.
