Volkswagen will showcase an electric concept for the next CES
The German manufacturer will present a new all-electric vehicle at CES 2016. We do not yet know the details, but it will be one of the brand’s main highlights, as well as the showcase for its new proposals in information and entertainment.

It seems that the whole Dieselgate affair is pushing Volkswagen to quickly try to clean up its image. So I am not surprised that its next move is the presentation of an all-electric vehicle at one of the most important technology fairs in the world, or rather the most prestigious one: the CES in Las Vegas. It will take place between January 6 and 9, and there we will be able to see what they are showing us today only partially.
The teaser you can see at the top of this article is all we have been able to see of this proposal, which will be at the brand’s stand in Las Vegas. It is known to be an electric vehicle that could be a version of the Kombi, the popular van of the German brand that has recently been reinterpreted as the Microbus concept.
The intention of Volkswagen is to offer the brand’s customers the chance to get this vehicle, which has no kind of polluting emissions and which may prove very interesting in terms of interactivity between car and driver. Apparently, it will feature several technological elements that will place it among the most advanced on the market in this respect.
It is no secret what an opportunity this gives Volkswagen to clean up its image, offering an emissions-free solution, while the matter of its diesel engines still lingers. Even so, it is always good news that the efforts of major brands to build this type of vehicle help make the electric vehicle more and more popular.
Besides this novelty, it will also present all the new developments in information and entertainment that it has been fitting into its models, including those seen in the Golf R Touch Concept, to show everything that can be found in German models.
