Volvo announces the prices of the S60 Polestar

The Swedish manufacturer has released the prices of its most anticipated saloon in recent years, the S60 Polestar, a vehicle with room to take the whole family on holiday and enjoy a few laps around the Jarama circuit.
Initially, the S60 Polestar will be sold in Australia, although the brand will be keeping a close eye on the evolution of demand for possible arrivals in other markets such as Germany, France or Italy, and it may even make its way to Spain.
Let’s recall that the Volvo S60 Polestar is a very special version of the premium S60 saloon, which has been thoroughly reworked to become a highly sporty saloon with a 3.0 six-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 350 CV and 500 Nm. All this power reaches the road through an all-wheel-drive system combined with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The performance of the Volvo S60 Polestar is on a par with the best in its segment, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. So that these spectacular performance figures translate faithfully to the road, the chassis has been tuned with Öhlins dampers, thicker anti-roll bars and carbon fibre parts to keep weight down. In addition, this spicy Volvo comes with oversized brakes with fixed calipers, capable of stopping the saloon in incredibly short distances.
The efficiency of the S60 Polestar is remarkable, with an average consumption of 10.7 litres per 100 km and CO2 emissions of 243 g/km. All of this is rounded off with a total price of 80,000 euros, which places it in line with the rates of its rivals.
