Why you should NOT park your sports car like this

Parking lot columns are public enemy number one for every driver. When parking, there’s always one that gets in the way and even ruins your car’s paint. Who hasn’t had a mishap with our beloved friends at some point? And if hearing that bang, that metallic crunch, is painful, imagine your car isn’t a conventional model, imagine it’s, for example, an Audi R8.
And that’s precisely the model I’m showing you in the photo, an Audi R8 V10 Spyder. The driver of this vehicle wasn’t able to avoid hitting the column, and judging by the state of the car, he didn’t take much care when parking.
Honestly, if I’m not sure I can park my sports car, I go around in circles until I find a space big enough to park it without risk, because it’s preferable to spend a little more petrol, and I don’t mean to say it’s right to waste fuel, but that’s better than spending hundreds or thousands of euros on a repair.
