With all of you... Mitsubishi e-EVOLUTION Concept: new photos and new details
The Mitsubishi e-EVOLUTION Concept will be associated with high performance, but this will not be its only feature: its technological level will reach levels previously unthinkable

As we already previewed just a few days ago, Mitsubishi intends to revive the EVOLUTION name, but this time under a completely different segment from what we were used to: a crossover. Even so, the “EVO” designation is synonymous with high performance, and this concept will be no exception, although we will have to change our perception radically.
The Mitsubishi e-EVOLUTION Concept, which we will see as a world premiere at the Tokyo Motor Show, was first revealed from the rear, showing very striking and radical lines. Now we can see it a little more fully, give it a face, and the truth is that it shows a design that will leave no one indifferent. It is not something we are used to, but after taking a look at it a couple of times, it must be said that its design is truly spectacular.

Yet we should not be seduced by its lines alone, since the e-EVOLUTION Concept hides a great deal of technology that points to the direction Mitsubishi will take in the future. Its high performance will be assured thanks to the electric motors hidden inside it, combined with a high-capacity battery system that will provide power and smoothness. This high performance is tied to a four-wheel drive system: one motor drives the front wheels, while the Dual Motor AYC system couples two rear motors through a control unit.
But there is more. The Mitsubishi e-EVOLUTION Concept will not be just any electric car, nor will it work like any ordinary car, since its Artificial Intelligence system will be able to understand road conditions, traffic and the driver’s intentions, in order to enhance the driving experience on its own. And if that were not enough, it also will “teach” us how to drive to improve that experience; it does this by building a profile of our skill level, and then creating a coaching program that guides us through voice dialogues and the dashboard display.

The capabilities of the Artificial Intelligence system created by Mitsubishi are not limited to the above, since thanks to the Personal Assistant our car will become one more passenger. It achieves this through its two main features: Dialogue System and Device Connectivity, making our driving an experience we never knew, and now you will understand what I mean:
- Dialogue System:
- Thanks to voice recognition and natural language processing, the e-EVOLUTION Concept will be able to understand perfectly what we say, and can converse with us in a completely natural way.
- It will be able to identify each passenger individually, learn from them based on their language and behavior, so as to offer the services that best suit each one of them.
- It will allow various vehicle functions to be operated through voice control, in addition to providing information about the vehicle.
- The voice recognition system is so highly accurate that it will be able to work with a poor network connection, even when there is none.
- Device Connectivity:
- It can connect with a wide variety of devices to offer us very interesting services, such as a bird’s-eye view of the landscape we are passing through, on each of the devices.
This level of technology, capable of turning a “simple” vehicle into almost one more occupant, may certainly frighten some people, but it is where we are heading, and apparently a future awaits us with a level of connectivity with our car that until now was unthinkable.
