Zenvo ST1: Danish supercar with 1,104 hp

First came Bugatti with the Veyron reaching 1,000 hp, but now several supercars have appeared that reach that figure, perhaps not with the technology of Bugatti, but they also exceed 1,000 hp.

The Zenvo ST1 is a Danish supercar that boasts 1,104 hp, and features a 7-litre turbocharged V8 engine. The project began in 2004 and the Zenvo brand expects to sell its first supercars in 2009.

It has a top speed limited to 375 km/h, and goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. This figure could be better, since 600 hp vehicles have similar acceleration times. Only 15 units will be produced per year, and they are expected to be expensive, since the vehicle features carbon fibre and the production costs of the supercar must be high.
