25th Anniversary Mustang Concept, SMS Limited Gets Going

25th Anniversary Mustang Concept

Steve Saleen may have retired, but his company isn’t standing still, nor is he sitting idle, putting his touch on his new brands with new creations. His supercar brand SMS Limited, recently established, has just added a new vehicle to its lineup: the 25th Anniversary Mustang Concept.

It’s one of those cars for which the word concept is superfluous, since we wish this model could go into production just as we see it. First piece of data, to start strong: a five-liter V8 producing 720 horsepower.

To reach that magic figure we’ll assume any resemblance to the original engine is pure coincidence, although we only know two things about it: it features a Red Butterfly supercharger and a new intake system.

On the outside it receives pure, unadulterated aggression, large air intakes on every side and a carbon-fiber roof. But without a doubt the best part is hidden behind it.

The rear has been completely reworked, now featuring an enormous LED light bar. Frankly, an enviable design that we wish Ford had already been applied to the first unit of this generation of pony car.

And if you don’t believe me… go ahead and take a look at the image gallery.
