430 CV courtesy of ABT for the most brutal Audi RS3

One of the best-known tuners on the current scene is Germany’s ABT. This time they’ve decided to go to work on one of the most “beefed-up” compacts on the market.
We’re talking about the Audi RS3, which has passed through the hands of these specialists to become a genuine beast that exceeds 400 CV.
If we take a factory Audi RS3 as our starting point, we already have what is possibly the most powerful compact on the market today. With a very sporty design and a high-quality interior – typical of any Audi – the RS3 adds a powerful 2.5 TFSI engine to the mix, with no less than 367 CV.

We’re talking about a compact that looks like everyday transport, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds thanks to a dual-clutch 7-speed gearbox and a non-permanent all-wheel-drive system. Yet, believe it or not, there are people who find these figures a little “meagre”, so they turn to outfits like ABT’s guys.
ABT has really got its hands dirty with the RS3 to create a beast capable of taking the kids to school every morning, while also being able to set the fastest lap time at the circuit of the day thanks to a power output that climbs to a total of 430 CV. This increase of more than 60 CV is achieved through a reprogramming of the engine management ECU.

In addition, ABT has fitted a new exhaust line ending in four large rounded outlets, which allow the engine to breathe better while enhancing the already characteristic tone of the inline five-cylinder engine. New 19″ and 20″ alloy wheels have also been added, improving the stance of the whole car.
With these upgrades, the ABT RS3 Sportback can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, reaching a top speed that rises from the original 250 km/h to 285 km/h. Undoubtedly figures more fitting for a supercar than a compact.
