964 Ferraris at Silverstone set a new world record

Ferrari organised a charity event at Silverstone where more than 964 cars of the brand took part, setting a new world record.

Ferrari and its gatherings. We love them, especially when there is a huge variety of Cavallinos Rampantes to choose from, and on this occasion there were far too many. The largest parade of Ferrari cars was led by a total of 964 vehicles driving around the Silverstone circuit.

This great video, where it seems the supercars will never stop passing, shows the largest parade of pure-bred Italian thoroughbreds the world has ever seen. It is estimated that the luxury car fleet had more than 500,000 horsepower in total, leaving any other similar gathering in utter ridicule.

Felipe Massa, second driver of the Scuderia, led the parade in a beautiful black Ferrari 458 Spider. The Formula 1 driver said that “it was a truly unforgettable experience.”

Everything was organised for a good cause. Ferrari donated £5 for each car that took part. The proceeds will go to a British charity that supports employees of the car industry and their families in times of hardship or danger.

Marc Gené was also present at the event, offering to answer questions or doubts from the brand’s customers.
