A luxury Mercedes Sprinter thanks to Carlex and Autokontener for a truly comfortable journey

There is a market we normally overlook and which is becoming increasingly fashionable. It is that of luxury vans for long journeys, aimed mainly at executives and VIPs. Vehicles designed both for work and for being driven around without a care in the world, with plenty of space to travel in comfort and with every conceivable luxury. A vehicle that is not a limousine but that fulfils the services these offer very well indeed.

The first thing that stands out about this model, according to the report from Carscoops, is that it features an interior theme in brown, with several shades of leather in this colour, along with elements in the same colour to create an elegant, understated atmosphere. All of this is accented with Alcántara, which adds even more elegance. In the rear it has seating for four people, distributed across four individual seats to make the journey very comfortable.

Two fold-down tables, one on each side, let the occupants in the rear work comfortably or simply rest a laptop, glasses or anything else they have in hand. A large television screen at the back provides entertainment and connectivity with their devices to make the journey as pleasant as possible, and there is a screen in front of each row to serve the same purpose. A drinks cabinet keeps soft drinks and other beverages within reach of the rear occupants to enjoy the trip.

At the front there are not many plastic surfaces, and the seats are leather, so the driver enjoys just as much comfort as the other passengers. Leather is also found on the dashboard and other parts of the vehicle. This is not the most luxurious Sprinter we have seen, because Carlex has worked on other, far more spectacular models, but a journey aboard this customised van is certainly worth it.
