Audi A4 allroad quattro

From this month, the range of the Audi A4 Allroad Quattro in Spain is expanded with the arrival of a new 2.0-litre diesel engine available in two variants. The first delivers 163 CV, while the second produces 190 CV. Both versions are paired with a seven-speed S Trònic gearbox and, like the rest of the range, come with the special Unlimited Edition.

With these two new engines, a new entry level is added to the range of this crossover, joining the 252 CV 2.0 TFSI engine and the 218 CV 3.0-litre TDI engine, the two variants found in this second generation of the model, which are already on sale in Spain. The 163 CV version is the lowest in the range, although only until next December, when it will be replaced by the version with the 150 CV 2.0 TDI engine and a six-speed manual gearbox.

New engines for the same model

This model reaches a top speed of 210 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, with an average homologated consumption of 4.9 litres per 100 km. This model includes the Audi Drive Select dynamic driving system and has a starting price of 45,330 euros.

The second version of this engine sits between the entry model and the 3.0-litre TDI version. This engine replaces the 170 CV 2.0-litre TDI that was present in the first generation of the model, which became the best-selling variant of that generation, accounting for two thirds of sales. With this new engine, the top speed is 220 km/h and the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is recorded at 4.8 seconds, with an average consumption of 4.8 litres per 100 km. This version is priced at 47,100 euros.

Both engines also come with the special Unlimited Edition, which includes superior standard equipment, with a price difference over the basic versions that offsets its added value. These versions include 18-inch alloy wheels, rain and light sensors, an aluminium trim for the exterior lights, an anti-glare interior mirror and other driver assistance features, with a parking assistant and improved infotainment systems compared to the other versions. The price of this version is 49,730 euros, an amount that offsets these added features.
