A new image and three videos that give us a first look at the Audi A8
Ahead of its worldwide unveiling on July 11 in Barcelona, Audi has wanted to show us a few more details of the silhouette of its new saloon

The Audi A8 is set to make a luxurious appearance in the film Spider-Man: Homecoming, so some people may have already seen it in the promotional videos for this film. But you may not have yet, and you may still wonder what the Ingolstadt brand has to offer with this luxury saloon. In fact, in the film it is one of Tony Stark’s vehicles, and he has always had good taste in cars in Marvel films. He always uses a Audi and this time is no exception.
Apart from this appearance, it should be noted that on July 11 the Audi Summit will take place in Barcelona, where this new model from the brand with the four rings can be seen up close. It is the natural rival to cars such as the Mercedes S-Class and the BMW 7 Series, and they want it to be a worthy rival to these two cars. And the image you can see at the top of this article is a sample of what we will be able to see.

Sober and elegant lines give us a first look at a car we are going to like. The stylised LED daytime running lights stand out at the front, while the rear lights also have a new and attractive look. The multi-spoke wheels are also interesting, and the profile it shows us is, without doubt, attractive.
We know that the Audi A8 will feature a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, which will be used to power the car’s auxiliary electronic components. With this, Audi announces a remarkable consumption of just 0.7 litres per 100 km. It will achieve this with a sailing function that cuts the engine to allow driving at 160 km/h with the engine switched off.
The materials used, such as aluminium, high-strength steel, magnesium and carbon-fibre-reinforced polymers, help to reduce the vehicle’s total weight, so everything is lighter and avoids high fuel consumption. Driver assistance systems to increase safety, and even a massage system to make the journey more pleasant for passengers in the rear seats, as you can see in these three videos.
