A Pagani Zonda is destroyed in a race
A Pagani Zonda was destroyed against a concrete wall at the Czech circuit of Most

The weekend in the Czech Republic ended with a Pagani Zonda that will never return to the track, or to the streets. The green Pagani you see in the photo has been completely destroyed against one of the walls of the Most circuit.
In the race he was taking part in, the Zonda had taken the lead two laps earlier, and there were only a few metres left to the finish when the driver in second place, an Audi A4 DTM, touched the right rear wheel of the Pagani and sent it into a concrete wall.
The most unusual part was the stewards’ decision, who ruled that the Audi had won, even though it was the one responsible for the crash with the Pagani, because they only considered the classification from two laps before the accident as valid. So, besides destroying the Pagani, the eventual winner, Tomas Kostkade, was rewarded anyway and has not received so much as a penalty. Incredible.
