The Lamborghini Marzal is not the most beautiful concept car of the 1960s, but one of the strangest. It was never sold and remained only a prototype, presented at the 1967 Geneva Motor Show, which served to give life to the Lamborghini Espada, the least understood model of Ferruccio Lamborghini.
The only example of the Marzal was sold at auction at Villa d’Este a few months ago, and its new owner has enjoyed taking the six-cylinder, two-litre engine out for a spin, along with the €1.35 million it cost him. At least the Marzal will not end its days gathering dust in a dark garage; enjoy the video, after the break.

Salvando las distancias, creo que no. No hay comparación entre uno y otro, salvo por la silueta de coupé y el remate de la trasera, muy exagerada en el Espada, más conservadora en el Estoque. Hay que tener en cuenta que en 1967 era impensable un coupé de cuatro puertas como el Estoque.

POR OTRO LADO LA PALABRA ESPADA EN EL ARGOR TAURINO Y LA PALABRA ESTOQUE SE PODRIA DECIR QUE SON DE LA MISMA FAMILIA ………Y YA CONOCEMOS A ESTOS DE LAMBORGHINI.

Ya viendo el Espada de cuatro puertas, la cosa cambia. Y no solo se queda en la similitud entre nombres del argot taurino. La verdad es que no recordaba a este modelo, que no ha pasado de un dibujo de Bertone, pero que bien puede ser precursor del Estoque, o al menos se han guardado la idea y la han resucitado ahora que también tenemos al Porsche Panamera o el Aston Martin Rapide.
