A Russian Ferrari 612 Scaglietti split in half

The owner of a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti ended up splitting his vehicle in two, possibly in an attempt to avoid running over a pedestrian.

The Russians and their accidents. They are becoming more numerous and more frequent. Most of the supercar crashes we tell you about take place in that enormous country. This time would be no exception, and I’m here to tell you about a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti literally split in two.

It is believed that the driver lost control of the car at high speed, sending the Maranello vehicle straight into a pole. Miraculously, only the driver of the vehicle suffered a concussion. The other three passengers in the Ferrari walked away without injuries.

On occasions like this, when there are no deaths or serious injuries, I can only think that the people aboard the supercar survived thanks to the car. This time the cabin remained intact; only a section 20 metres long broke away from the rest of the vehicle.

The possible cause was that a pedestrian was on the road, forcing the driver of the Ferrari to take evasive action with the consequences that entailed, but frankly, that decision is better than killing someone.

Below is a video showing how the vehicle looked after its brutal impact with the light pole.
