ABT is at it again, this time boosting the output of the Audi RS3 to 460 CV

In 2021 the latest version of the Audi RS3 was launched, a model that managed to beat the lap record on the Nürburgring circuit. Later, in 2022, ABT took this model and raised it to 500 CV with the S package of the Audi RS3 S. Now they are doing it again: ABT Sportsline, recognised as the leading specialist in vehicle tuning within the VW Group, has once again left its mark, taking the Audi RS 3 to new heights of performance and design.

The latest creation from ABT Sportsline, named ABT Power R, is the engineering work that provides the extra boost to this gem of Audi. The ABT engineers have made a series of adjustments to the heart of the Audi RS 3, its 2.5 TFSI engine, and the results speak for themselves. Output has been raised considerably, from the previous 294 kW (400 CV) to a striking 357 kW (485 CV), transforming the driving experience into an endless rush of adrenaline.

This achievement is not limited to the standard Audi RS 3, but also extends to the limited-edition Audi RS 3 Performance in its Saloon and Sportback variants. These special models, already admired for their elegant design and road presence, are now boosted by ABT Power R technology, which raises the output of their 2.5 TFSI engine from 299 kW (407 CV) to around 357 kW (485 CV). In addition, torque increases by 60 Nm, guaranteeing smooth acceleration and instant response with every press of the pedal.

ABT Sportsline has also made available the ABT Power S version, although we already mentioned something about this version. With this variant, the Audi RS 3 becomes a road beast, generating an impressive 38 kW (460 CV) and increasing torque by 40 Nm compared with the standard model. Speed limits are no problem for this vehicle, as the option to activate a top speed of 300 km/h becomes a reality through the myABT app, which also provides detailed information on the vehicle’s performance.

The superior driving experience of the Audi RS 3 is also enhanced by the suspension optimisations offered by ABT Sportsline. With ABT suspension springs, sports anti-roll bars and coilover or sports suspension options, every corner becomes an opportunity to explore agility and control. Beyond performance, appearance is not left behind either. The 20-inch ABT GR gloss black wheels add a touch of sporting elegance to these RS 3 models, while the interior can also be personalised with ABT Sportsline’s distinctive touches.

When it comes to prices, we would not expect anything less. The models equipped with the ABT Power R package are the RS3-R LIMOUSINE, starting at 36,500 €, and the compact RS3-R, priced at 37,700 €, though each of these editions is limited to a production run of just 200 units.
