Alfa Romeo presents the Quadrifoglio 100º Anniversario edition on its Giulia and Stelvio
The Giulia and Stelvio range has just unveiled a new special edition, limited to just 100 units, with exclusive equipment and design
Just a couple of days before the 100th anniversary of the iconic Quadrifoglio, Alfa Romeo has just presented the new Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100º Anniversario, with production limited to 100 units per model, featuring plenty of technology, more power and improved sporty handling.
Before delving into the details of this special edition, let us go back to 15 April 1923, when the 14th edition of one of the oldest motor races in the world, the Targa Florio, was held. There, Ugo Sivocci, behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo RL, debuted the green Quadrifoglio with a victory in the legendary event. Since then, this emblem has been closely tied to the biscione brand.

More power and performance
Starting with the new features of this special edition, the new Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100º Anniversario use the same 2.9-litre V6 engine as the standard version, upgraded to 520 CV and paired with a mechanical limited-slip differential that promises to notably improve the vehicle’s handling and traction.
Designed to offer the “best driving dynamics in its class”, the Giulia and Stelvio featured in our article use ultralight materials such as aluminium for the engine and carbon fibre for the propshaft, bonnet, spoiler and sill covers, not to mention the carbon front splitter that improves aerodynamics and the Akrapovic exhaust system, responsible for the characteristic sound of its V6.

Specific and more sophisticated equipment
Both models debut new adaptive matrix Full-LED headlights and are fitted with sporty alloy wheels of 19 inches for the Giulia and 21 inches for the Stelvio, accompanied by gold-coloured brake calipers. This gold colour also appears on the commemorative badges of this version.
As befits a Quadrifoglio, the Giulia and Stelvio feature a grille and exposed carbon-fibre mirror caps, which create an attractive contrast with the three paint finishes available: Rosso Etna, Verde Montreal and Nero Vulcano.

Inside, the interiors combine black leather with Alcantara, contrasted by gold stitching and 3D carbon-finish inserts for the dashboard, centre tunnel and doors, plus a “100” number embroidered in gold next to the Quadrifoglio badge on the dashboard.
The interior photos also show a new instrument cluster with a fully digital 12.3-inch TFT screen, from which all the vehicle’s relevant information can be accessed. This new cluster adds the Race configuration to the Evolved Relax and Heritage display modes, placing the rev counter, speedometer and shift light front and centre for manual driving.
