A110 Alpine Sports Cars Range / versions
Alpine A110 SportsX, a bold sports car made for snow, but for display only
The Alpine A110 is a truly spectacular car, so it is no surprise to find increasingly powerful and interesting versions such as this concept prototype

The car industry events are the ideal places to show the new proposals for models we already know. In this case, it is the International Automobile Festival (FAI), held in Paris, where the Alpine A110 SportsX has been unveiled. This version of the sports model is inspired by the world of rallying and also comes with accessories for enjoying the snow.
The Alpine A110 SportsX is a show car, a vehicle designed more to showcase everything it is capable of than to go into production and become part of some eager buyer’s collection. To shape it, the brand’s various design and engineering departments worked together. Both have put everything they know into this car and given it the spectacular form you can see in the photos.

Tribute to a classic Alpine A110
The Alpine A110 that won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1973 was the model chosen to create this car. The same bodywork was not used: a kit has been added that widens the model by 80 mm and raises its ground clearance by 60 mm. In addition, the front bumper and side skirts have been replaced, and the bodywork has been given more character with two-tone paint, front auxiliary lights with a cross shape for an aggressive look, and custom black wheels fitted with Michelin Primacy 3 tyres.

ALPINE A110 SPOTSX
This concept model is based on the Alpine A110 Pure, which means it has a 1.8-litre four-turbo engine producing 252 CV and a maximum torque of 320 Nm, with mid-engine layout. In the base model this allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.
Will this variant of the Alpine A110 go on sale? It seems not, so many will be left wishing they could have one in their garage. Still, we know that the modifications present on the Alpine A110 SportsX will appear on other versions of the car, so they can be enjoyed all the same.
