And another one: Seat will launch an urban hybrid

Connect the dots and you’ll get it. Given how our wallets bleed every time we pull into a petrol station to give our car a drink, given the taxes on cars based on emissions, given environmental awareness, given the need for practicality in an unstoppable urban environment… there are many reasons, many indeed, why consumers and, consequently, manufacturers are betting on the A-segment.
We already knew that the Volkswagen group is developing the UP! for its three key brands: Seat, Volkswagen and Skoda; with the aim of bringing to market a city model that represents a good alternative to the ones available so far: from a C1 to an i30, passing through the 500.
But now we also know that this Seat model will feature a hybrid version. This allows it to rival the electric city car (in one of its versions) that Honda will bring to the old continent next year. Lower consumption, fewer emissions, lower taxes, lower costs… the idea is a delight and I hope it comes to fruition. Not only for Seat, but because the market needs pressure from ideas like this so that others decide to commercialise their own.
