Apollo presents its Aspire 5, its tyre designed for premium saloons and SUVs
Indian manufacturer Apollo announces its new Aspire 5 summer tyre, designed for both saloons and SUVs regardless of the type of engine they use

Apollo may not sound very familiar, but it is a tyre manufacturer that, together with its other brand Vredestein, is making an increasingly significant impact in Europe from its country of origin, India, where it is the leader in tyre sales. Its products are available in more than 100 countries, to which they are distributed not only from its factories in India, but also from those it has on European soil in Hungary and the Netherlands.
One of its most popular tyres is the Aspire 4G+, which is set to be replaced by the new Aspire 5, a summer tyre designed mainly for both saloons and SUVs, regardless of whether they have a combustion or electric engine. The new Aspire 5 is characterised by offering greater comfort while driving, less noise and greater efficiency compared to its predecessor, all at an affordable price.

To achieve these improvements, Apollo Tyres has made use of its new Dynamic Contour technology, which combines an advanced tread design and an innovative compound. In this regard, the “diamond bands” that make up the tread structure are responsible for absorbing the impacts caused by road irregularities, thereby reducing the stress on the sidewalls and providing a smoother ride while also improving control over the vehicle.

Continuing with its design, the new Apollo Aspire 5 features a new tread pattern that has evolved from the experience gained with the Aspire 4G+, minimising vibrations and noise as much as possible. So much so that, depending on the size, it has a class A noise rating. In this regard, depending on the size, it also obtains a class B rolling resistance rating, achieved through the new carbon black compound used in the Aspire 5, whose low-hysteresis properties minimise heat build-up, helping to improve durability and extend service life. On wet surfaces, the Aspire 5 also delivers notable performance, improving control and braking capacity, thus achieving a class A rating depending on the size.
According to Apollo, tests carried out with the Aspire 5 in Europe, India, Japan and South Korea confirm its properties and characteristics, matching and even surpassing some of the leading European premium brands. That is why the Aspire 5 will also be offered in a demanding market such as Europe, available in 24 sizes for wheels ranging from 17 to 21 inches.
