Bugatti Veyron Curiosities Supercars
Are you handy? Here's your car, a Bugatti Veyron with pending repairs

Whether you’re a seasoned DIYer or not, most people can handle the small problems that come up in everyday car use, such as changing a bulb or covering up a minor scratch on the bumper.
However, the car we bring you today is slightly more complicated and laborious, as well as costly. We’re talking about a Bugatti Veyron put up for sale at 190,000 euros.
At first glance, it may look like a real bargain when you consider that a new Veyron has a selling price of roughly 1.5 million euros, a figure that rises above 2 million if we’re talking about one of the many special editions the brand, owned by the VW Group, has released for this highly sought-after model.

The case at hand is that of a Veyron that was involved in an accident a few months ago, which insurer AXA is now putting up for sale, after carrying out the appropriate procedures with its previous owner. The car will apparently go to auction with the base price we mentioned a few paragraphs above, and the final amount is quite likely to rise.
The photos attached to the article show considerable damage to both the bodywork and the chassis, repairs that may be beyond the reach of just any workshop. At first sight, the Veyron seems to suffer from some problems at the rear axle, where the right wheel can be seen pointing slightly inward.

In addition, certain front suspension components and the front subframe have been affected, either by coming loose or by bending. These parts will surely be very expensive to replace. Furthermore, if we look at the bodywork, one of the front fenders is badly damaged, as are some of the lower front panels. Inside, a couple of panels are missing, which will certainly add considerably to the final bill.
We have no doubt that the car will sell with relative ease, but we also have no doubt that this hypercar has many days in the workshop ahead of it: repairs, adjustments, inspections and tuning. Let’s hope it’s back on the road soon.
