Electric Cars Other Sedans Supercars
Aspark Owl, the supercar presented by Titan The Robot in Dubai
The Aspark Owl, a fully electric hypercar, was unveiled at the Dubai Motor Show and will reach markets worldwide by mid-2020

Early in the year, the Aspark Owl, a Japanese hypercar that wanted to become the star of motoring news, was already being talked about. Some time has passed, and it has finally been shown to the public at the Dubai Motor Show. And it does so as a production vehicle, that is, with almost all the features of a model that will roll off the production line to be bought by the lucky few who can get their hands on one.
And that is why, because it is not exactly an accessible car, it has been presented in a market like Dubai, where supercars and luxury models are quite common. And to make it even more appealing, the presentation was designed to deliver a show that would recall the moment the cover over the hypercar was pulled away. The host of the presentation was Titan the Robot, who appeared on stage to make way for the new model.

Granted, it must be admitted that Titan the Robot, introduced in 2004 for this kind of show, merely appeared on stage, as it is not capable of performing the maneuvers needed to remove the cover. But it is certainly good company for the Aspark Owl on its first public appearance as a production model.
But if Titan the Robot was impressive, the Aspark Owl is even more interesting. It is a supercar that delivers 1,984 CV and a maximum torque of 2,000 Nm, something truly spectacular that will offer exceptional performance. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h stands at 1.69 seconds, and its battery pack will offer a range of 450 kilometers, according to the company.

To improve aerodynamics, the supercar features a dynamic rear spoiler that deploys automatically at 150 km/h and retracts when speed drops to 100 km/h. The standard equipment of the Aspark Owl includes LED taillights, USB connectivity, satellite navigation, climate control, four interior screens, keyless entry, ambient lighting, a battery monitoring system, a tire pressure monitoring system, ESP, ABS, TCS and power steering assistance.
The Aspark Owl will begin reaching its lucky buyers in the second quarter of 2020, and according to the Japanese company, it will be the first electric hypercar to be effectively marketed worldwide.
