Aston Martin On Her Majesty Secret Service DBS Superleggera, a car that makes you feel like James Bond

Among those things are, of course, the most spectacular cars of each era in which he lives his adventures. The character Bond, James Bond, and among those wonders we find in his film garage are several Aston Martin. And since these are cars worth knowing about, decades after their appearance on the big screen, they receive a tribute from the English manufacturer, which owes much of its name to these film appearances.

The Aston Martin DBS was one of the star vehicles in the 1969 film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service“, the sixth cinematic installment of the adventures of agent 007. To celebrate the film’s 50th anniversary, the British manufacturer has chosen to commemorate this milestone by creating a special edition of the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, which is named, precisely, “On Her Majesty Secret Service DBS Superleggera“.

This special version of the British model features a olive green bodywork, taken from the original car that appeared in the film. But there are other exterior details that receive special treatment. For example, the front grille designed for this car, a custom splitter, 21-inch OHMSS Gloss Black DT wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres and other small details that make this spectacular car even more striking.

Inside, we can find a blend of black leather with Alcantara fabric that creates an elegant contrast to offer all the comfort needed to enjoy a car designed to make us feel. Red accents add touches of colour that enhance the exclusivity of this car. Among these red elements, the name of the special edition and the James Bond logo stand out strongly.

Like every special edition from a British brand worth its salt, the OHMSS BBS Superleggera features luxury details, such as the drinks set that fits into the boot and always keeps a bottle of cava and glasses ready to enjoy. Since 50 years have passed since the film’s premiere, only 50 units of this special edition will be built. And mind the price if you’re interested in one, because each will cost around 340,000 euros. Of course, none of these cars has passed through Q’s hands, so it won’t have any of James Bond’s own gadgets. Or so we believe…
