Audi brings the most modern Escape Room in the world to Madrid and Barcelona
If you’re a fan of escape rooms, don’t miss the one that Audi is bringing to Madrid and Barcelona. It’s called “The e-tron room: The Future Paradox” and promises to be thrilling.
Audi is fully immersed in developing the mobility of the future. This year it presented its first 100% electric model, the Audi e-tron, which we already had the chance to test a few months ago, and we already have some insights into what Audi’s future electric cars will look like.
In keeping with all the technical innovations of the brand with the four rings, Audi is presenting a new hyperreality experience in Spain: “The e-tron room: The Future Paradox“. This is not the first time the people from Ingolstadt have used an escape room to showcase their innovations in a fun way for everyone. This time, attendees will face a series of challenges and tasks with the Audi e-tron as the protagonist.
In “The e-tron room: The Future Paradox”, players will have to overcome the challenges posed by this hyperreality experience. To do so, they will rely on state-of-the-art technological equipment that includes elements such as motion sensors and virtual reality glasses.
The Audi escape room offers a completely different experience
The escape room features an algorithm capable of interpreting movement in real time and building a life-size avatar of the player. In addition, another novelty is that it will include a real actor who will play a robot, giving advice to the players and accompanying them throughout the game. Teamwork, however, is key, since each session will be carried out in groups of 3 or 4 players.
The main feature that sets the escape room of Audi apart from the rest is its advanced motion capture system, which uses a team of 36 cameras and 28 sensors. It is capable of translating real movements into the virtual world.
Caita Montserrat, Marketing Director of Audi, stated: “For almost an hour, attendees will travel through hyperreality to a series of points in time until they reach the future. We have worked to create a multiplayer entertainment experience unique in the world to bring the public closer to the vision of future mobility that Audi is championing.”
“The e-tron room: The Future Paradox” will have two locations in Spain. The first slot is for Madrid, where it will be installed at Calle San Cayetano 5 from October 24 to November 13. It will then move to Barcelona, where it will be operating from January 27 to February 16.
If you want to take part, you can already register at www.etronroom.com, a portal where the brand will open sessions each week through codes that will be published on the social media channels of Audi Spain (@audispain).
