Audi introduces the Allroad Shooting Brake

A few days ago, Audi presented a new prototype, called Allroad Shooting Brake, which can be seen in person at the NAIAS being held in Detroit these days.
This concept continues the lines the brand has recently been introducing across its models, which we have already seen in others such as the Sport Quattro.
It is a small SUV with a clean, youthful design that gives us a first look at the lines of the next TT, whose interior we already know.
Looking at the exterior, we find a vehicle of very contained dimensions (4.2 metres long), with 3 doors. However, thanks to its raised suspension and rugged details, it projects a very robust image.

An important detail is the weight, which has been kept at under 1,500 kg thanks to the use of composite materials and reinforced plastics.
The interior surprises with its similarity to the one presented a few days ago for the TT. The Allroad Shooting Brake shares the same design, offering a cabin very similar to that of the new coupé.
This means we forget about the centre console, in this case reduced to a storage compartment, as well as a drastic reduction in buttons. The climate control system is also operated from the air vents themselves.

The instrument cluster adopts the new digital technology, with a 12.3-inch full-colour screen that offers a wide range of content without the need to incorporate any other display across the dashboard.
To power the Allroad Shooting Brake, Audi offers a hybrid system that combines a 2.0 TFSI engine with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 408 CV, with 650 Nm of torque.
Performance is impressive, with 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, reaching an electronically limited 250 km/h. All of this combined with an average consumption of 1.9 litres, thanks to a lithium-ion battery pack that allows it to travel 50 kilometres in electric mode.
