Audi RS Q8 Goliath: nearly 1,000 CV for the German SUV thanks to Wheelsandmore

When a car takes on the Goliath name, we can be sure it is no nonsense, and the guys at Wheelsandmore prove it to us. The German tuner, whose predilection for the most powerful vehicles in the world is more than well known, has decided to play on this occasion with the new sheriff, the Audi RS Q8. The giant killer of the four rings has landed on the market ready to overpower its main rivals, but Wheelsandmore saw great potential in it, which is why they decided to squeeze out every last drop of performance.

Besides the relevant mechanical modifications, the German tuner also took the opportunity to tinker with the aesthetics of the Audi RS Q8. If the 600 CV the German SUV produces as standard already seemed enormous, Wheelsandmore did not hesitate to make that power figure look almost laughable.

As for the design of the Audi RS Q8 Goliath, the tuner has set about accentuating the overall look with 24-inch wheels and an almost endless palette of colours. At the same time, customers will be able to play freely with the design of the wheels themselves and opt for two-tone finishes to personalise the German SUV even further.

The real highlight of this creation, however, lies in the heart of the RS Q8, where Wheelsandmore has put all its effort. As standard, the four-ring SUV uses an exuberant 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 capable of producing 600 CV, but the tuner has known how to get even more out of that engine, to the point of offering up to four different power levels.

With Stage 1, Wheelsandmore extracts 710 CV and 800 Nm of torque from the V8 thanks to various ECU modifications. Add a new exhaust system signed by Capristo and the RS Q8 not only gets a better soundtrack but also more performance, reaching 725 CV and 930 Nm of torque. Changing the intake manifold, the tuner promises 786 CV and 1,060 Nm of torque, figures that rise to 965 CV and 1,250 Nm of torque with new turbos.

Even so, Wheelsandmore has managed to develop a fifth and final power level that allows the RS Q8 to exceed 1,000 CV. However, this modification is not homologated and does not comply with EURO 6-d regulations, so it will be ruled out until further notice.
